Le Ouarzazate sur Pau

A lovely, tasty and reasonably priced tagine with a nice Moroccan rosé wine, the cocktail was very good, but the service was very, very slow... a shame.

The couscous was very good, although it was served as a single dish in a tagine where everything was crammed together. Only the marga (cooking liquid with onions) was served separately, and it wasn't the tomato-based sauce that Moroccan marga usually is! You couldn't choose! Raisins, chickpeas, carrots, meat… everything was mixed together! What a shame.

There were five of us, and we had a wonderful time! The various couscous and tagines we ate were unanimously and absolutely delicious. And the service was very friendly. We'll be back.

A very pleasant experience. The welcome was very warm. The meal was excellent and plentiful. The mint tea to finish was superb.

A very good mechoui with lamb, kefta, kebabs, and merguez sausages. The casa (beer) is a bit pricey (5 euros) but otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Passing through Pau, what a wonderful discovery! The service was perfect. I ordered the eponymous couscous, and while it's obviously not as good as my mom's, it's a serious contender! Don't hesitate, you won't regret it.

I highly recommend this Moroccan restaurant because the experience was excellent from beginning to end. The food was delicious, with authentic flavors and dishes prepared with great care. The atmosphere is very welcoming, peaceful, and pleasant—ideal for enjoying with a partner, friends, or family. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Without a doubt, this is a place I will return to and recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Moroccan cuisine. Five stars!
