Le Paddock sur Grasse

A wonderful discovery in every way: the welcome, the setting, the atmosphere, the service, and the food. Nothing but positive things to say about our first visit without a reservation. It's recommended to book ahead; this establishment is very popular, and understandably so. We will gladly return, and we'll definitely make a reservation next time.

We had a very good meal; the portions were generous and delicious. However, we were a little disappointed by some of the service. We had barely sat down when a waitress arrived with a bottle of ice-cold Evian and a bottle of ice-cold Badoit, simply asking if we wanted still or sparkling water. Caught off guard by the heat, we accepted both (at €8 each bottle 😅). Another surprise came when we went to pay: paper meal vouchers weren't accepted, only meal voucher cards. We hadn't seen any information about this before the bill arrived. It's a shame, because these little details detract from what could have been a perfect experience, given the quality of the food.

Excellent meat, beautiful setting. A very pleasant evening ☺️

We went to dinner at Le Paddock and, as there were no available spaces in front of the restaurant, we parked in the lot near the stables. After our meal, we stayed and chatted for about fifteen minutes before leaving. As we headed towards the exit gate, we found it closed and that there were no staff members present. We were therefore forced to leave our vehicles in the parking lot, as a family member came to pick us up. I am posting this review primarily to warn you and to advise future customers to be vigilant. The gate appears to close automatically at midnight, and I believe it is important that this information be clearly indicated by the owners. Especially since we were told that the manager would have done a walk-through of the property before closing time. However, unless we are mistaken, we didn't see anyone, even though my car is white.

Despite the restaurant being full, the welcome was warm and everything was done to avoid waiting. The service was friendly and with a smile! Special mention to Gaetan and Timéo.
