This restaurant is a real favorite. We immediately feel that the priority here is the well-being of the customer. The cuisine is delicious, and the wines chosen with care. I had a really pleasant time there, almost like being at home. The manager, of rare kindness, is attentive and smiling, which makes the experience even more special. You feel welcomed like a guest, not just a customer.

Very good, renowned restaurant at Croix Rousse. I had the chance to get engaged there more than 25 years ago. Since then I have had the opportunity to return there, never disappointed. Looking at the different reviews, I realize that the quality of the products and the quantity remain the same. The welcome is very pleasant, everything is well organized in order to satisfy the customer as much as possible. Eric (The boss), ran a butcher's shop on rue d'Austerlitz in the 4th before launching into the restaurant business. Eric is a hard worker who doesn't hesitate to jump into the kitchen to lend a hand to his cooks!!!! Starting from nothing, he was able to make a name for himself in the Croix Roussienne restaurant business and beyond. Workaholic and tireless, he gave a lot of his time and his know-how to get where he is now. All this result and this recognition did not fall from the sky. Always pleasant and smiling despite the hours he puts in and the various problems encountered in maintaining a certain culinary excellence. Knowing the profession well, I have always been amazed by the success of this boss who was able to conquer the world of catering through his hard work, his courage, his way of managing his teams etc….In short, go for it with your eyes closed. PAILLERON, you will not be disappointed and will not stop going there regularly or will recommend it to your friends to enlighten your taste buds. Congratulations to Eric and his wife who supports him.

Good food, simple but effective On the other hand, it is much too expensive compared to the quantity.

Un déjeuner en couple et en famille avec enfants et petits enfants pour la Fête des Pères Les menus proposés sont très corrects Il manque certainement une personne en salle pour le service qui s attarde. Dommage mais c est un tout petit bémol. La qualité des plats rattrape tout. On y retournera vite. J ai decouvert et apprécié la quenelle à la crème de Saint Marcellin.

Accueil plutôt froid à notre arrivée, mais qui s'est amélioré en cours de service. Au moment de prendre la commande, déception lorsque la serveuse nous annonce qu'il n'y a plus de frites maison et qu'à la place, ça sera une poêlée de légumes. Malgré tout, nous réussissons à obtenir des frites mais les plats et les acompagnements sont servis en trop petite quantité. Ce qui fait cher pour un menu à 42€.

Cadre Très agréable dans un quartier calme de la croix rousse, l’accueil est un peu froid au début mais s’arrange ensuite avec un service rapide et efficace. Les plats sont délicieux avec des mets frais et de qualité je recommande

My daughter and I had a great meal! The au gratin potatoes were an amazing side dish! My daughter is vegetarian and was able to find a nice meal too.
