Le Palais d'Antan sur Beauvais

Excellent gastronomic experience! A magnificent location at the foot of the cathedral. Attentive yet discreet service. Refined and delicious cuisine. We had a wonderful time celebrating my partner's 60th birthday there 😊. Thank you for existing and bringing us such pleasure!

Passing through Beauvais, we booked this restaurant for lunch. A very good idea, as the meal was excellent. Very well located opposite the cathedral, the place is welcoming, with a simple yet well-executed layout. The level of the cuisine, from the aperitif (amuse-bouches) to the dessert, is very high, comparable to a Michelin-starred restaurant. The presentation of the dishes is superb. And it's delicious! You can chat with the manager who will serve you at your table, making for a pleasant experience. Bravo! Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this restaurant located right across from the cathedral. The quality of the food and the creative presentation make for a truly enjoyable lunch experience. Choosing from the menu is difficult; you'll want to try everything! Bravo! 👏

We came yesterday with friends. We had a wonderful time at the chef's table overlooking the kitchen. A moment of gastronomy and authenticity that did us good. Thank you to the kitchen for their work and thank you to the owner for his knowledge of wine and local products. See you soon!

A wonderful experience at La Gargouille restaurant. The intimate atmosphere perfectly complemented the delicious food. We had a fantastic time!

We bring medium to large-sized groups of discerning foodie travelers to La Gargouille every chance we can get. The experience is always a delight. Service, dining, quality and location are all exemplary. We feel blessed to have found them and recommend La Gargouille highly. After lunch we visit the cathedral across the way, to everyone's delight.

Delicious cuisine full of visual and gustatory surprises. The presentation of the dishes is stunning. Thank you for this magnificent gastronomic journey.

A very enjoyable meal at a great price! A big plus for the welcoming atmosphere for children. I recommend it for a lovely family outing!

A delight for the taste buds! Original cuisine that respects the seasons and local produce. Very attentive staff. Intimate and elegant restaurant. Just needs an ashtray outside and some house cocktails.

Undoubtedly the best restaurant in Beauvais. For our first visit, we tried a midweek lunch. We will gladly return in the evening to discover the full extent of the chef's expertise. Happy holidays to the team.
