Had dinner here, nice place but for me a little bit too modern. I am more in the old authentic restaurants but yeah that's personal taste of course. The food was good and I really recommend the burger so tasty. The meat and the bun lovely and fresh you should get that definately. Not too expensive eather. Maybe the Kir a little bit over the top with a burger but I liked it.

We didn't know. Friendly welcome, good food, good champagne. My friend had steak/fries and I had hamburger/fries. 100 euros with champagne, rosé and desserts. Correct. The only downside is that there is a feeling of "instability" due to the inclination of the ground outdoors. But there was no other place. No problem, we'll go back.

No se le permite pedir solo un aperitivo. Tienes que añadir una principal. Quizás haya un mínimo para pasar en este lugar casual con comida cara. Se le da agua cara si solo quiere agua del grifo. Precios un poco altos. El pan no venía con mantequilla y teníamos miedo de pedir algunos debido a los posibles cargos adicionales y el servidor antipático. Menú dicho cargo extra por el pan. No pedimos pan (no estaba fresco) pero no nos cobraron por ello. El servicio estaba bien, pero los servidores estaban vestidos - solo con ropa casual (jeans, camiseta) y sin uniformidad, por lo que no se podía decir quién estaba trabajando. Tenía la ensalada de mariscos y estaba fresca y sabrosa. Recomiendo probar eso. Un poco demasiado aderezo así que pídelo de lado.

Buscando algún lugar cercano para comer y decidí probar aquí - llamé al restaurante a los 18 : 00 y sólo le dijeron 19: 00 & 19 : 30 disponibles - nada más tarde, ya que estaban llenos después de eso. Claramente un restaurante ocupado, ya que había una cola cuando nos presentamos para nuestra reserva. Pedí una botella de agua con gas más una cerveza y pedí nuestra comida - fletán para mí, cordero para mi esposa. La comida llegó muy rápido, lo que es inusual en un restaurante francés, así que nuestras sospechas nos hicieron pensar que todo estaba pre-preparado y toda la comida era tibia - quizás, quizás no pero inusual. Todas las comidas venían con la misma verdura tipo ratatouille. No muy original y la presentación podría haber sido mejor. El lugar estaba zumbando y numerosas personas fueron rechazadas. No es la mejor comida que tuvimos, pero estaba bien.

22/09/2024: Beautiful restaurant in the middle of Epernay let down by poor service. The food was really well presented and tasted lovely, the side vegetables were a bit bland. Sadly we were ignored for 15 minutes after being seated and when we finished our mains and asked for dessert menus, they were never provided so we just paid and left.
14/09/2024: We didn’t have high expectations after reading the other reviews but we didn’t want a fine dining dinner and options in the area are limited and we only booked 4 days before at which point a lot was already full on a Friday night . You HAVE to book something in advance for all meals when visiting Champagne. The service was friendly when given . But in fairness I’ve never seen hospitality staff walk so slow . The manager sent so many people away with an unfriendly “complet” and a look as I “why do you not make a reservation “. But the restaurant was only ever half full. If the staff actually worked even half as quick they could accommodate more people . The meals were good , plat du jour of steak champignons and a tomato tartin from the starter menu but it was very big so served me as a main (we had lunch out too). Deserts appeared to be made off site or far in advance and were nothing special so would skip these next time . Great wine and champagne choices at reasonable prices for the location. Beautiful building , hardly changed from when it was an actual bank according to our bnb host .

12/12/2023: in this hotel restaurant we sleep well and we eat very well with reasonable prices, we are very well received by the staff and the very professional owner. You can go there you will not be disappointed
