The night was rainy, the Charente River was overflowing, a doorbell rang, and the door opened onto a beautifully decorated hall. The welcome and service were friendly, the menu offered excellent choices, and the tasting was perfect and delicious. A truly gem.

We didn't have the pleasure of exploring the outside due to the weather and the season. But apparently, the terrace looks amazing! In the meantime, the interior is very pleasant, very classy, with plenty of space between the tables, which means you don't have to overhear your neighbors' conversations! It's so nice to have a bit of privacy when you're out on a date night! The service was impeccable. The dishes were magical: refined, expertly prepared, flavorful, and generous... a great table and a very reasonable bill!! We highly recommend it!!!

We stumbled upon this restaurant on a whim, and what a delightful surprise! The meal was delicious, refined, and bursting with flavor. The service was attentive and pleasant, without being intrusive. A truly wonderful discovery that we wholeheartedly recommend! We will gladly return.

A very nice surprise at the end of a courtyard in Saintes. The terrace must be exceptional in the summer. In winter, it's less so, it must be said. But as soon as you walk through the door, the quality is obvious. Of course, there are a few details that are lacking, there always are (box of hand towels in the bathrooms...), but the quality of what you have on the plate and the beauty of the decor help you have a very good time.

A birthday party for 17 people on a Saturday evening.
A restaurant owner who took great care of the food preparation, and a restaurant owner (along with her team) who took great care of the evening. An extraordinary, trustworthy menu: very, very good! I don't regret my choice, nor do the guests! We had a wonderful evening, thanks in part to you. Thank you.
