This isn't my first time eating at Passe Montagne! But yesterday, for their Brasero night, I wanted to thank them for the excellent food and service. Special mention to Quentin Louis and Jason who made the evening truly special! The quality of the food, the presentation, and the quantity were all perfect. Thank you all! Max

A very warm welcome! We came twice. The first time, it was late in the day and we wanted to have a drink and a crêpe. We were welcomed even though the restaurant was closing, without any pressure to leave. Much appreciated! The second time was for lunch. A very warm welcome and a very good meal. Good value for money. We will gladly return in the winter!

Arrived today around 1:00 PM, walking from Lake Montriond and then taking the gondola. Perfect welcome with a table for 9 on the terrace. Quick and friendly service. Generous and delicious dishes. We highly recommend it. Thank you for the complimentary after-dinner drinks.

We went there for lunch in February, it was very pleasant, lovely setting, beautiful fireplace, very friendly staff, and good homemade dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

09/09/2026: Stumbled across this place while cycling to Lac de Montriond. Tuesday night was their last BYO Bbq 🍖 so we grabbed some meat from the shop next door and chef cooked our food perfectly. You could help yourself to bread, coleslaw, potato salad and condiments. We had a fab evening and met some great people. ✌️

La marmotte d’or is a truly special spot, the interior is cozy and welcoming and the sprawling terrace has gorgeous views of the mountains; the sunsets here are stunning! The food is very well-portioned and reasonably priced with some good vegetarian and vegan options. There’s a good variety of drinks: beers, wines, cocktails and mocktails. The bar regularly hosts events and concerts so it’s a great place to spend a fun evening. The staff is very friendly and all speak French and English. If you’re in or around Montriond it is truly worth the stop!
