One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. We did the 6 course tasting lunch on a Saturday. We also added the wine pairing. I loved the Asian influences whilst leveraging French cooking techniques. You have to trust the chef, not a place to come if you want customisation Was an interesting meal, and overall special experience.

We had the 8 course tasting menu and it was just fabulous 👌 the service was amazing too, they told us all about the dishes in English and were very warm and friendly. I would highly recommend this place- such a memorable experience, every dish just made my mouth dance and my heart happy ❤️

L'Institut Restaurant

06/04/2024: I told our table service in-charge that - I should have booked L'Institut for all the dinner of my Lyon stay. Food, service, enviornment are beautifully delighting, and of high calibre. Even our neighbour diners are gentlewoman and man. We enjoyed it so much. The foie gras is of very high quality, poached in red wine so carrying aroma and pink edges when sliced, not fatty I like it. The roasted prawns on mushrooms tartare also open up stomachs with nice dressing. The slow-cooked beefchuck is not my cup of tea though. My mother liked to make a long-boiled soup with the front underarm meat of pork (not sure it is shoulder inclusive). Well I'm talking about a different meat, but it is what it comes to my mind the slow-cooked red meat more preferred. Overall the experience is five-star!!!! Price is affordable, all-round of good value, at Bellcour a district you won't miss in Lyon. Salut to the restaruant teams.
