A must-try! Excellent welcome, delicious traditional cuisine. Very generous portions. Just steps from the train station, a quiet and very well-maintained spot. Reasonable prices. Wheelchair accessible, suitable for children. Thank you for this delightful experience.

My usual crêperie was full, and I stumbled upon this timeless restaurant tucked away in a courtyard near the Quimper train station. Everything seems frozen in the 80s/90s: spacious tables, period decor, a welcoming waiter with his lanyard draped over his arm, a wine list binder with photos and descriptions of the wines and their producing regions, Tavel served in an ice bucket with glasses regularly refilled 😳 The food is simple, homemade, and delicious. Wines are reasonably priced and mostly available by the half-bottle. A very pleasant surprise that I will gladly return to.
