A restaurant that far exceeds its ratings. While passing through Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we came across this restaurant even though it hadn't been recommended to us. The friendliness, the owner's wine recommendations, and the quality of the cod were all excellent.

I ordered a menu. My partner only ordered one dish. We asked for it to be served at the same time as my main course. So we could eat at the same time.
My fish arrived cold. His burger... wasn't the right one. Replacing chorizo with fish is starting to show.
I had time to finish before he hadn't been refilled. And then we watched the waiter smoke his cigarette instead of clearing our plates for dessert...
I should have read the reviews first. I wouldn't have come.

What a disappointment! Especially when you've known this restaurant for years.
A parade of waiters...at least four, for two dishes ordered.
One didn't know the dish being offered.
Food...good, nothing special..scoop of ice cream arrived just as it was starting to melt. We waited at the cash register to pay...a very, very long time.
The icing on the cake: the cleanliness of the restrooms! Shameful.

The mussels were not cleaned 😕 and served with 3 fries, asking for more is an extra on the bill, not great!!! Very disappointed
