An intimate and very special place. Super delicious food made from local ingredients. Very nice and enthusiastic waiters who taught us about smaller local wineries - which are part of their wine menu. Highly recommended from here

A delightful time spent at your restaurant. I came with a friend, a regular customer, yesterday at lunchtime, and I was charmed by this place! For €25, you get a choice of starters and main courses, or main courses and desserts, plus a glass of wine. I opted for perfectly cooked fish and a very smooth chocolate mousse. Thank you for the wonderful experience. See you very soon!

Excellent experience at Matoine. Impeccable service, Quentin as insightful as ever as the house sommelier. Bold cuisine, with beautiful vegetables, expertly seasoned and cooked dishes. Lovely menu, beautiful setting. I'll be back for every new menu. Well done to the three of you!

In a warm and inviting setting, this restaurant is a gem in Colmar, a city that desperately needs it. The service is impeccable and competent. The sommelier is highly professional. The cuisine is refined, elegant, and creative. The atmosphere is very pleasant thanks to the professional staff.

Great experience at this little owner-run restaurant! Very welcoming and cosy atmosphere, paired with excellent service and delicious food. Well presented, creative and perfectly seasoned dishes and this at a more than reasonable price. We can warmly recommend this restaurant!

What can I say… we experienced the previous experience… so the bar was set high… and I can assure you that it has been surpassed, and with flying colors… from aperitif to dessert… including the main course, cheese, and coffee, everything was top-notch… a truly wonderful team, a brilliant chef who takes you on a culinary journey… impeccable service… excellent advice… and a special mention to the sommelier who immerses you in his world… I haven't forgotten anyone, especially our waitress… what a fantastic team you are!!! You treated us to a truly delightful meal!! Thank you

30/03/2026: Great experience. A lovely little restaurant; I went there with my mother this weekend. The service is very quick, probably because seating is quite limited. The food is very good, and the prices are more than reasonable. Parking is a bit trickier. If you're lucky, you can find free parking spaces in the evening (after 7 pm) in the Petite Venise parking lot. It's only a 5-minute walk in that case. Otherwise, you can try the Saint Josse parking garage or the Montagne Verte underground parking garage. Finally, I want to warmly thank the restaurant for welcoming our very well-behaved little dog and offering him water.

Restaurant Au Jardin Du Caveau Saint-Jean

14/04/2026: A relaxed atmosphere and great service! The food and wine were wonderful! The ribeye steak was cooked to perfection!! Highly recommend!
12/04/2026: The tarte flambée was great! However, the baked Munster cheese was a bit too strong, and I think the pastry was frozen. In any case, it wasn't very good. The place isn't very big, so you need a bit of luck to get a seat.
