A truly wonderful experience. The flavor combinations were beautifully creative. A real treat!
And the server, who was extremely knowledgeable about the wines on the list, was very helpful in choosing a wine to pair with our meal.
I will definitely be back. This is definitely a place to remember.

Intrigued by the positive reviews, we went to dinner at this restaurant.
The atmosphere is very nice and intimate. I lowered my rating because the ventilation isn't adequate, the fried food was coming out of the kitchen, and the smell lingers in the room and on your clothes.
The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and the food is good, with refined flavors.
The dishes, as in all of Alsace, are a bit heavy for our tastes.
We still recommend it.
The wine list is excellent.

A little bistro just the way we like them, and one we so desperately need in a France overrun by fast food chains. The welcome and atmosphere are very friendly. The cuisine is simple yet creative and delicious, using quality ingredients that make you want to come back to this bistro. You can feel the passion for the craft in the kitchen and the dining room. 👍

An intimate and very special place.
Super delicious food made from local ingredients.
Very nice and enthusiastic waiters who taught us about smaller local wineries - which are part of their wine menu.

A delightful time spent at your restaurant.
I came with a friend, a regular customer, yesterday at lunchtime, and I was charmed by this place!
For €25, you get a choice of starters and main courses, or main courses and desserts, plus a glass of wine.
I opted for perfectly cooked fish and a very smooth chocolate mousse.
Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Excellent experience at Matoine. Impeccable service, Quentin as insightful as ever as the house sommelier. Bold cuisine, with beautiful vegetables, expertly seasoned and cooked dishes. Lovely menu, beautiful setting. I'll be back for every new menu. Well done to the three of you!
