A beautiful little spot overlooking the Arcachon Bay. Delicious seafood and a warm welcome on a lovely terrace. We highly recommend this place where we had a wonderful time 🥰

We were the only four of us. We were on the terrace by the bay at the end of October, with uncertain weather. The owner, cook, waiter, etc., were very welcoming. The oysters, shrimp, and prawns were excellent. The whelks could perhaps have been cooked for a few minutes longer.

After a year, we returned here to eat oysters. It was another dream! The location is fantastic. The oysters, shrimp, and pâté were delicious, and the rosé went perfectly with them. Luckily, we found a parking space for our motorhome, so we were able to thoroughly enjoy our stay here.

A fantastic waterfront establishment with a pleasant terrace. It's all about fresh oysters. They have their own oyster farm on the terrace where they get their oysters fresh. Mmm!

24/04/2026: Excellent restaurant! The mojito aperitif was great! The razor clams cooked on the plancha were superb! And the tuna tartare was equally delicious! I didn't try the dessert, but from what I saw, I'll definitely be tempted next time 😉
23/04/2026: Excellent food, both in terms of quality and quantity, presented beautifully. The service was impeccable, with special attention paid to each customer. We were served very quickly. Special mention goes to the very attentive manager who gave us a warm welcome. I highly recommend it.

La Cabane du Mimbeau

27/04/2026: Rare are the moments I find perfect in their simplicity. Nothing more is needed: birdsong, good company, refreshing oysters with a bouquet of tender, plump shrimp. I thank the entire team, and especially the friendly waiter who answered all our questions with kindness and intelligence. The only negative point I can find is the lack of ice cubes to chill my glass of white wine, which was getting warm in the sun! And even then, was that really necessary? Thank you!
