A lovely little restaurant. Generosity perfectly describes this establishment, from the food to the waitress and the chef. We had a very pleasant time. A visit is a must for food lovers.

Ended up here by chance. There was a bit of a wait, but that is to be expected when it is freshly prepared. Lamb shank perfectly prepared, mega portion, but I could barely finish it—what a portion! Nice older lady serving who visibly enjoys her work!

Walked in here without a reservation and received a warm welcome. We wanted typical Alsatian dishes, and it exceeded our expectations. Definitely a top spot in Guebwiller!

We had a very good meal, generous portions. The welcome was excellent, friendly, and welcoming. The price was very reasonable. Thank you! (The klutz who can't hold his glass without spilling it 😀)

05/08/2026: A great find, friendly staff. The restaurant was full both on the terrace and inside, which explains the slightly long wait for service. Understandable.
04/08/2026: We asked for a table for three quite late without a reservation, and they were kind enough to find us a table anyway, as it was the winemaker's tavern that referred us. The meal was excellent, no complaints there, but the waiter and waitress... they were like prison guards, what a shame...

01/08/2026: It's always a real pleasure to return to La Taverne du Vigneron! The Alsatian atmosphere is warm and charming, the dishes are homemade, generous, and true to tradition. An authentic place where you eat well and always feel welcome. Highly recommended!
