This place absolutely delivered the kind of meal that makes you want to cancel all future plans and just nap happily. We arrived armed with approximately three words of French and a lot of optimism, but the waitress was an absolute star—patient, friendly, and somehow able to understand our chaotic pointing and enthusiastic nodding. The food? Proper hearty, comforting stuff. The kind that feels like a hug from someone who insists you haven’t eaten enough. And speaking of “enough”… they do NOT mess around with the cheese. If you like your meals lightly sprinkled, look away now—this is full commitment, no regrets, cheese-forward dining. Somewhere, a cow is very proud of this restaurant. The atmosphere was wonderfully convivial—buzzing, warm, and the sort of place where everyone seems to be having a great time, even if (like us) they’re not entirely sure what they just ordered. It felt relaxed and welcoming rather than stuffy, which made the whole experience even better. All in all: great service, generous portions, and a cheese policy I can fully get behind. Would absolutely come back—next time with slightly better French… or just the same strategy and a big smile.

Nice discovery. Very welcoming place. The food was excellent.(Garlic shrimps and welsh) We were also lucky to get some seat because at around 8pm, it was full. Better to book. If we come back to Malo, we surely stop there again

The best little restaurant/bar in this small northern town, go without hesitation. The food is as good as the owners are friendly and kind, I recommend it 100%.

A little gem! Just like the town and its people, it's unpretentious, welcoming, and delicious, with impeccable service. The dishes are high-quality, prepared on-site with excellent ingredients and cooked by the owner herself. A true delight; the food is superb, and the atmosphere is equally wonderful. We had a wonderful time; my dog ​​Napoleon was welcomed with kindness and cuddles. Plus, we ate very well and the place is very welcoming.

Menus just the way we like them, on a slate; I give the crème brûlée a 10/10, it's excellent.

We had the opportunity to organize our end-of-year meal with the company, and it was a resounding success. We were able to use an upstairs room, and the appetizers, main courses, and dessert were a real hit with the entire group. The atmosphere was fantastic, and a special mention goes to our waitress that evening, Laly. Definitely a place not to be missed!
