I found his restaurants great, the only downside was the hot water in the middle of a heatwave, but otherwise very good and well-maintained.

We had a wonderful time at Café Marce! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves; the dishes were delicious, carefully prepared, and bursting with flavor 😋✨ A huge thank you to Mike for his professionalism and kindness 👏, as well as to his entire team for their warm welcome that made us feel at ease from the moment we arrived 😊 The atmosphere is pleasant, the decor tasteful, perfect for a romantic dinner 🥰 A truly wonderful experience that we highly recommend!

04/04/2026: While the products are very good, the Caen store is rather small, making it difficult to move around when there are several customers. It's very unpleasant to be told "can I help you?" after only five seconds in the store.
10/03/2026: Absolutely beautiful chocolate creations here! I had to find one that wouldn't break in my suitcase. The wonderful employee wrapped my chocolate so it would be safe. Thank you! Incredibly reasonable prices... The sculptures would be 10x the price in the USA.

21/04/2026: What a wonderful discovery this tea room is! The place is very welcoming and has a lovely terrace; the coffee is good, as are the homemade treats (ah, that apple tart!!). The welcome and service were very friendly. Well done and thank you!
08/04/2026: A charming little tea room in the heart of Caen. The owners are lovely and everything is delicious. However, it must be said that the prices are high. Nevertheless, I encourage you to come and discover this relaxing little haven, with its vintage decor reminiscent of our beloved grandmothers' tea rooms!
