Superb restaurant, a Caen institution. Highly recommended! It's well worth the trip!

It's a restaurant with a pleasant, cozy atmosphere, but I think it could use a bit of a refresh. The staff is very good. The food is simpler than I expected; I thought it would be more gourmet.

I invited 26 people for work, and I paid €50 per person, including drinks and wine. I didn't make the reservation, but I think we must have asked for a special menu. We waited an hour and a half for our starters, and we weren't even given peanuts or anything else while we waited. The starters were either egg mayonnaise or beets, the main course was quite simple, and the dessert was thinly sliced ​​apples. I found it really not good; it felt like a cafeteria. The restaurant made simple dishes to serve the whole group. They could have done so much better. The chef could have come up with something more sophisticated, like a stew or cakes for dessert. I was extremely disappointed by this restaurant, which seems to be popular judging by the rating.

Perfect service and excellent advice. It's hard to choose which dishes to order, they all look so tempting! High-quality, generous cuisine, all in a cozy atmosphere.

Superb food at a Michelin-star level.

We were familiar with the restaurant before, but after a year's absence, we were very disappointed with the food and the servers' attire, especially for an establishment that aims to be upscale. In short, a huge disappointment! The setting, however, remains very pleasant; it's a shame the rest doesn't live up to it!

A charming restaurant with comfortable chairs and beautiful decor. The welcome was warm and the servers were smiling; we have no complaints about the atmosphere or the way we were received. However, several points need improvement. First, it's unacceptable to wait 40 minutes between the appetizer and the main course, especially on a weekday lunchtime when the restaurant is far from full and the lunch break isn't particularly long. Second, when you offer an appetizer to share, there should be more than just a few tiny pieces of chicken! The portion was already very small for one person, and the plate was covered in oil! Disgusting! As for the main course, you offer a "crying tiger" that isn't spicy. This recipe is obviously seasoned with chili peppers; the dish was tasty but didn't live up to the description. The accompanying risotto is spicier than the meat sauce. It's actually quite surprising to have a dish that isn't really risotto and is made with something other than short-grain rice.

My first experience at this restaurant, although I'd heard so much about it. We arrived as a party of four (we had a reservation at 7:45 pm), and the staff allowed us to enjoy their superb terrace and cocktails until 8:30 pm without any problems. We ordered several dishes to share for starters, and everything was perfect: the taste, the temperature, and the presentation. There was a wide selection of wines; I recommend the Chablis, and a wide variety of fish, all perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. I have no complaints about the desserts—simple yet satisfying, a perfect way to end a meal. Thank you again to the entire team for the warm welcome and excellent service. We will be back.
