Le Petit Monsieur Super Besse sur Besse-Et-Saint-Anastaise

We usually spend our holidays in Goelia accommodations, but unfortunately, this residence won't leave us with the best memories. The apartment was old and quite worn from age and use. There was no welcome booklet, no welcome drink with the activity leaders. Fortunately, the reception staff were friendly and smiling. It was clearly stated that the residence is located outside the town center with a very steep hill (good for staying fit, but very tiring if you have children, forcing you to take the car to go to the village) and that there is no Wi-Fi (apart from 30 minutes at reception or a €20 weekly subscription) and very little cell service (which is good for switching off, but not for booking activities online).

Great stay! The apartment was spacious enough for four people and had all the basic amenities. The location overlooks the resort with a beautiful view! The building could use a bit of a facelift on the outside, and the terrace railings need attention! The only thing missing is proper electric vehicle charging stations in the resort.

The building is a bit run-down, but the apartment is decent with a large balcony offering a lovely view of SuperBesse. There are plenty of activities for children around Lake Hermines.

Disappointed by the lack of services initially described on the Goelia website, such as laundry facilities. Driving miles to do laundry and standing around for over an hour in a parking lot isn't really my thing... We usually like Goelia, but this time... And they dare tell us they're cheaper than others... OK, but that's not true. How can you expect us to come back when the quality doesn't live up to the description? Anyway, apart from that, the Auvergne region is beautiful and the people are lovely.

Contrary to some negative and disparaging comments, I found this residence very well maintained. The apartment I stayed in was clean and well-equipped. The residence is very quiet and the welcome was very warm. Well done to the Goelia team.

The rental completely met our expectations. It was perfect. Furthermore, the staff were really friendly and efficient. I recommend the Super Besse resort.

Great location…especially for hiking…but the facility is showing its age.

The welcome was very good. The apartments are a bit dated, but they have everything you need. Magnificent view.

We've stayed there three times. I think the residence could use a bit more maintenance. The apartments are quite well-equipped, no complaints there. This year we ended up with a mountain-facing apartment, so it was north-facing, which was a shame. The bedding is quite comfortable. The staff is very friendly, which is a plus. As for the location: the shuttle bus stops right in front, so it's perfect. Be prepared for potential traffic jams arriving in the village on Sundays if ski lessons are in the early afternoon. However, it's too far from the village to walk there, especially since the road isn't safe for pedestrians. When the snow conditions allow, you can drive a little higher up than the accommodation, which is very convenient. You can also access the slopes on foot via this route, but it's uphill, not so easy with skis on your back and boots on your feet 😅 Resort level: as mentioned above, it's a shame there's no path or sidewalk to allow pedestrians to move around safely. The ski area is perfect for beginners or intermediate skiers.
