A truly memorable experience! We booked the gîte for a group for two nights, including dinner and breakfast. It was perfect! Edouard and his staff are incredibly welcoming and generous. Exceptional wines and digestifs, a super comfortable dormitory, a magnificent view of the valley—in short, a little slice of paradise!

Games by the fire, a delicious Savoyard dinner and fine wines, followed by an impromptu dance party, all surrounded by a wonderfully attentive team! The view The aroma The taste… There you have it, I've summed up our favorite mountain restaurant… I highly recommend it! Not only is it delicious (exceptional dishes and wines: a sommelier with 260 different selections at all price points), but the welcome is warmly generous and attentive. You can get there on skis or with a pedestrian pass: it's well worth the trip, and it's best to book in advance. We even had the chance to meet the winemaker who produced our bottle of Crozes-Hermitage… quite an improbable encounter! The mashed potatoes are to die for… The meat is excellent, the Savoyard snails are remarkable, the cheese plate is generous and flavorful… The blueberry tart is authentic, the homemade cookie is delicious… The chestnut kir, the génépi liqueur, the Chartreuse liqueurs… and the wines! Phew! We loved it… and highly recommend it… We have unforgettable memories of it… Thank you again!!

Exceptional... honestly... it's incredibly high quality... the chicken was to die for... the salad (just one example) is beautifully presented... twice over... twice received, truly like few others... it's not just great, it's generous and welcoming... the couple who own it are lovely and always smiling, and the (young) Meddy is lovely too... I highly recommend it, and I'm quite demanding...
