Great place for dinner. The service is excellent, really kind and hospitable. The food is very well prepared by the kitchenstaff. We had an Victorien menu, which was great food for money. Very nice Terrine de la Maison and (big) steak. Also the cheese platter and fromage Blanc were very nice. We will come back next time. Keep up the good work!

A peaceful oasis near Chateau-Chalon. Lunch menus start at €21, with tourist menus and à la carte dishes at reasonable prices. You'll find traditional cuisine options and some excellent Asian dishes. For a change, we chose to try the padthai and shrimp ravioli. Both were delicious. A special mention goes to the Pain Perdu dessert, which is definitely worth a try. Attentive and friendly service

On the recommendation of a well-known restaurateur, we went to Le Petit Victorien. We had a lovely evening on the terrace, sampling the local specialties, and it was a delight from start to finish, with generous portions. The welcome was warm and professional; I wanted a glass of Vin Jaune, and the owner first offered me a taste before serving it. We were just passing through the region and were thrilled with our experience.

Perfect shaded terrace with a misting system that makes it very pleasant despite the outside temperature being over 30°C... Excellent set menu with a very good Jura white wine included in the menu... Big thumbs up for the restaurant's signature dessert, the "morel parfait," original and delicious. Highly recommended.

06/07/2026: A true gem! The dishes were fresh, carefully prepared, and absolutely delicious. What makes this place truly special is its warm and welcoming atmosphere: from the moment you arrive, you feel like you're visiting friends. The service was attentive, very friendly, and took the time to attend to each customer. If you're looking for flavorful cuisine in a friendly and authentic setting, you've come to the right place. We will definitely be back!
22/06/2026: A HUGE thank you to Philippe and his chef Jérôme, with whom I had a very pleasant and convivial time. Arriving unexpectedly around 3:30 pm, I was welcomed almost like a friend, with warmth and smiles, and they cooked for me despite the late hour. A delicious one-dish meal with Morteau sausage and a local Chardonnay with a fruity, mineral character! All served at the counter at my request! Thank you, Philippe and Jérôme, and if I come back, as promised, I'll have a full meal with a starter and dessert. Signed, the three-wheeled scooter rider (they'll understand).

09/08/2024: Je ne comprends pas les commentaires négatifs sur ce restaurant. Le patron, sa femme (et leur fils ?) sont charmants. La cuisine, sans être fantastique, est de bonne qualité. N’arrivez pas trop tard, sinon vous serez à l’intérieur et la salle manque définitivement d’atmosphère. Faites particulièrement attention aux Mardis où tous les restaurants de Château Chalon sont fermés à part une guinguette et ceux qui veulent déjeuner doivent aller à Voiteur (ce fut notre cas).
13/06/2024: La patronne nous a très aimablement accueilli et servi mais la cuisine est des plus banales, sans saveur, sauce industrielle. La salle trop vaste, pas assez meublée, manque de chaleur. De la bonne volonté de la part des gérants mais ils fait qu’ils apprennent le métier.
