Le Pharaon is an institution in Dijon, spicy everything... More than 41 years of good oriental cuisine and despite the grumps who criticize the slightest misstep, try to run a good restaurant during this time and we'll talk again.. . Best wishes

Excellent food, lots of choice and hearty meals. A downside on the limited space between the tables.

We chose Lebanese and Egyptian menus, in the form of small tasting portions. The menu is very generous. It's very good, even if some dishes deserve to be a little more spicy for my taste, sometimes just with salt. The service is OK, even if it lacks a bit of warmth and smile, as noted in other reviews, which I would put down to a form of shyness. The dishes are systematically announced and/or explained, the wines suggested if necessary. The restaurant room, very small, could do with a little updating but remains clean and the decoration is linked to the countries of origin of its cuisine.

Visit to this restaurant on December 30, it was an excellent and pleasant surprise. The food was delicious and the service, provided by the chef's wife, was pleasant. I highly recommend and will happily come back!
