Excellent experience at Le Phare restaurant on Île de Ré! Everything was absolutely perfect, from the ambiance to the dishes, which were as beautiful as they were delicious. A huge thank you to Anna, our server, for her warm welcome, kindness, and professionalism throughout the meal. Impeccable service, a pleasant setting, and flavorful cuisine: an address I wholeheartedly recommend. We will definitely be back!

The service was attentive and very friendly; we were seated quite quickly despite the restaurant being absolutely packed (and it's large!).
We were seated in the outdoor chalet, which was very well heated and had great French music playing, where we enjoyed delicious winter dishes.
However, the dishes were served without any fuss, and the portions were rather small for the price, even sadly empty (for example, the roasted Mont d'Or cheese, €18, served alone with some potatoes taken straight from the bag).

Good restaurant, but several drawbacks.
We came in winter, looking for some warmth and good hot food. What a disappointment when we sat down: we were cold throughout the entire meal!
Furthermore, the prices are slightly high, but the food was generally good.

We were only supposed to have oysters with a glass of white wine, but we ended up staying for dinner. The oysters were very good, the white wine from Île de Ré excellent, and the sardines a delight, all accompanied by superb service from attentive waiters and waitresses.
