Great Monday jazz night. Really cool varied styles played. We heard double bassist and 2 guitars. Btw best to reserve in advance if you want to be in back room with musicians- by phone I think. And arrive 8 onwards You can hear music in middle bar and front bar just fine. The decor is something else-such a variety of posters from all sorts of music and bands and artists from the last 50 years intermixed with photos of past customers-we spent ages looking at them recalling the music. Toilets down rickety stairs but fine. Good enough choice of cocktails wine and beers Thank you to female manager who looked after us, as I am an oxygen user. The place gets warm! Bar gets busy.

Gin tonic and espresso martini are both incredibly delicious!

I've went last Friday with a colleague, we had few beers. They were quite good and not expensive. On Monday they do jazz, I've been to one last year and was also really nice.

I loved the bar's atmosphere, the cocktails were great, and the staff were very friendly! (With a really cool playlist too!) I recommend it, and I think it could accommodate large groups with its back room!

It's a legendary bar, but next time I'll check the Monday lineup. I saw one of the best concerts of my life during my last trip to Paris, but that Monday was a disaster. It's a bit of a gamble. The staff are always lovely.
