We're in France and we're going to an English pub for lunch... you know what I mean. I'll cut to the chase: the bartender who greets you at the door is very friendly, and the Italian waiter they serve us is kind and helpful. I had an entrecote cuisine rare with Saint George sauce, truly remarkable like few others. It's very hot in the place, but the quality/price ratio is worth a visit.

Very tasty and large portions. Also very loud. Too many people - don't expect romance or aesthetics. The glasses are clean, but they're all stained. I wanted to wash them again.

An excellent option for those looking to stop for a meal with good food and friendly, welcoming service. It's not your typical tourist restaurant; you'll experience the typical local atmosphere of passing guests, workers, and coastal residents. ☺️

I love this place, which remains one of the last vestiges of a bygone era, yet still feels very much alive. For example... I called from the TGV train taking me from Paris to Roquebrune to order dinner at 11 pm tonight... No problem, a plate of fries (a veritable pancake) was ready and waiting, and as a bonus, they made me a fantastic omelet after 11 pm (quite an achievement in late January in this area). The service was welcoming, and they even offered me a glass of limoncello at the end of the meal. I don't know if the locals realize how precious this kind of place is, but personally, I love the cheerful atmosphere and the unpretentious yet incredibly friendly customer service. So, okay, it's not haute cuisine, but it's an excellent spot where home-style cooking, a relaxed vibe, and a very reasonable bill are the order of the day.
