Le Piston sur Aix-En-Provence

10/10. That’s what I am starting this review with. Visited Le Piston yesterday and wow. Just utterly wow. Sometimes people may say I exaggerate but this place deserves all the praise. We got the Salmon Pizza, Escargots, Burrata Pizza, the Vespa Pizza and finished off with the Tiramisu and Crème Brulée. Everything was just mesmerizing. My sister claims it’s the best pizza she ever had and calls it her spot so I had to come try it out myself and oh boy, this was a wonder of a treat. If you couldn’t tell already, I am in awe over this place and the staff complimented perfectly the quality and standards of the food and atmosphere entirely. Would I visit it again? Really, is it even a question?!? Absolutely! This is part of those places that I’ll come back to again and again whenever I visit Aix/Marseille. As always, Cheers!

This restaurant is well-located in the heart of Aix-en-Provence. The welcome is warm and the service attentive. The terrace is pleasant. The menu offers a good selection of dishes and the food is delicious. We all chose the grilled swordfish steak with virgin sauce, served with arugula and mashed potatoes. The swordfish was cooked to perfection. There's also a wide variety of pizzas. I tried one; it was good and generously topped, but slightly undercooked for my taste. This restaurant offers excellent value for money.

We had dinner at this delicious restaurant. The staff was welcoming, kind, and professional. The appetizers we ate were exquisite, but the linguine with clams was fabulous. Highly recommended. Congratulations. 😊

Fantastic welcome, everything was great from the appetizers to the dessert. We had a wonderful family meal and would definitely go back. (The pizzas are excellent!)

Excellent restaurant! The pasta and pizzas are truly delicious. We came as a group of nine and received a wonderful welcome. The waiter was incredibly friendly. We will definitely be back! Thank you, Le Piston, for this lovely experience.

We arrived on a Friday evening without a reservation. Right in the city center, so we walked. We received a warm welcome, enjoyed French cuisine, and had pizzas baked in a wood-fired oven (which you can see over as the dining area is on a mezzanine). The menu offered a variety of simple, traditional dishes. We were served very quickly, even though it was quite busy. A good, unpretentious place that offers excellent value for money.

Very warm welcome. The calamari was excellent. I recommend it and thank you for the caramels 😉
