This is a great little brasserie in Le Mans, very close to the town center and not too far from the train station. Here you will find a welcoming owner, monsieur Maupay, and very friendly staff. There's indoor and outdoor seating and a cool bar playing some blues! They have a simple food menu, and our meals were very well prepared! In my case; steak, frites and salad (side note: best frites in France as far as I'm concerned, and that's after 6 weeks and 17 cities!). The wine, beer and drink selections are good aa well! Highly recommended!!

Brasserie Le Plateau is such a lovely place, with a welcoming, smiling, and attentive owner. The food is so delicious—it's a pleasure to eat simple, high-quality dishes. No frozen food, only fresh ingredients—kudos to the cooks! The service is impeccable, and the smiling waitress is a delight. In short, go there, even just for a drink; it's a place you absolutely must stop by, and you'll definitely want to return. Bravo to the whole team!

I stumbled upon this place by chance, but I wasn't disappointed at all. The food is delicious, well-presented, and homemade. The service is quick and very pleasant, with both a polite and attentive waiter and owner. A wonderful discovery. I highly recommend it!

A lasagna was served after the meal service had ended. It was excellent. The managers are very friendly and wonderful. A truly great experience.

17/02/2026: It's a real shame there was no entertainment between courses, and for €125 per person, I found the meal mediocre. You have to turn around to see the show. Last year, we were two to a table, it was very good, and the show was something else entirely.
