Formerly known as "Le Pot de Lapin" (The Rabbit Pot), this is a very good Saumur restaurant with quality dishes and generous portions. The menu is original and a welcome change from the usual fare; a special mention goes to the veal kidneys, which my wife found excellent.
The terrace is on the sidewalk across the street, and the tables are so close together that the space feels cramped and uncomfortable.

Small restaurant on a quiet street. Generous and delicious cuisine. The meat was melt-in-your-mouth tender! We'll be back.

Very nice place, good food, we ate well.
We just have one comment: why turn away customers at 8:45 pm, telling them they were full when that wasn't the case? A shame, I think.

Fantastic evening, warm welcome in a cozy setting. Special mention for the confit pork which was delicious and definitely worth the trip! Thanks to the waiter for his good cheer. Highly recommended.

A most welcoming experience!
The menu is explained carefully and with attention to detail, the dishes are beautifully presented, a delightful interplay of colors and textures.
It's a resounding yes from me, a place that won't disappoint!

I love veal kidneys and that's why I chose this restaurant: I was a little disappointed because they didn't have any that day; but I was pleasantly surprised nonetheless because I thoroughly enjoyed everything else they had on offer.
It's good, hearty, and relaxed:
That's what you expect from a Bouchon, isn't it?
