A beautiful meal in a relaxed atmosphere in a stunning location. Sebastian and his team were professional and friendly and we had a lovely meal that was beautifully prepared - having stayed in Vonnas many years ago, we were curious to see what the brasserie offering would be like - the answer is scrumptious! Amazing wine list too. Highly recommended.

Honestly, a fantastic place! My company and I came to eat at Pré aux Clercs and it was a wonderful experience. The menu was delicious. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and professional. I highly recommend it, and I will definitely be back.

A little disappointed. The croutons seem to be the house specialty. The Parmentier soup (delicious) was overloaded with extremely dry croutons (the kind you buy at a store). And the same goes for the signature salad (beetroot/green salad) and way too many croutons. Beware!

A romantic dinner for two one weekday evening in a first-floor private room overlooking Place de la Libération with a superb view of the Palace of the Dukes of Burgundy and the town hall… the starters, main courses, and desserts were perfectly executed. Bravo to the chef and his team! Sébastien and his staff in the dining room served us exactly as we expected, very professional and discreet. We were made to feel right at home. They gave excellent advice on the wine selection; it was a pure delight. We can't wait for summer and the terrace… Highly recommended!

07/07/2025: My husband, children, and I had to urgently find a hotel after our car broke down. We received a very warm welcome!
06/07/2025: A 4-star hotel, not a standout. The room is adequate, but not exceptional due to the lack of a shower (only a bathtub), but the bedding is excellent. The pool is functional but not very clean. The welcome is impeccable and the restaurant is good. The location is perfect, with access to the tram and the shopping center.

01/02/2026: We had a reservation for two at 8:45 pm. We were asked to wait (no tables available despite the reservation) for 5 minutes, which turned into 15. The waiters and staff were very friendly despite the rather slow service: we were finally served at 9:40 pm. As for the food, the dishes were fine except for the small portion of fries and a rather dry burger (perhaps lacking sauce?). For dessert, the tarte tatin was excellent, but the tiramisu was 90% cream/mousse, which, while delicious, lacked any crunch or texture. Finally, the atmosphere was very noisy with loud music that was barely audible due to the tightly packed tables (offering no privacy and allowing you to hear all the conversations at neighboring tables). For your information, our bill came to €54 for two: two main courses and two desserts.
