Le Pre Richard sur Bernex

A magnificent setting, a beautiful chalet. The waitress was not very pleasant. I opted for the hot goat's cheese salad for €16.50 and I had a few salad leaves with 3 mini goat's cheese toasts. That's all. It was too expensive. My friend opted for the burger: overcooked meat, frozen fries, not homemade bread, a sort of assembly for €20, disappointment. Not much is missing to make it nice. And the thoughts between them of “I can’t wait to finish the season and clean everything with a karcher” we feel that the desire is no longer there. However, we make the effort to go to Bernex, which pales in comparison to the restaurants of Lindarets, Montriond, Chatel or even Chapelle d'Ablentence.

I have nothing against the cuisine which was very very good but I barely ate anything so I just had a starter salad the goat cheese toasts didn't break a leg of a duck not bad but not sensational neither on the other hand the place is just breathtakingly magnificent I have lived here in Haute Savoie for 35 years and a first for me....Not disappointed at all quite the contrary

When we arrived at around ten, the waitress warned us that there would be a bit of a wait, a good 20/30 minutes. Without worry we take the option of waiting, and sit down to have a drink while waiting. We had to wait a good half hour before the waiter came to take our order. Then we waited at least 10/15 minutes to be served (5 beers, not cocktails which require a lot of preparation). After this step, 7 friends decided to go eat elsewhere seeing the time it took for just a few pressures. I would like to point out that the terrace was not full (25/30 seats), and the interior room was completely empty. More than an hour after settling down we finally ordered our dishes, a friend asked for the potato fritters which seemed to be the specialty, there were no more, otherwise we would still have to wait !! We had 3 burgers, quite good, very filling, no complaints there. But perhaps a service organization to review.

Good food but the fondue for two was rationed... too bad. very very beautiful setting and impeccable service.

Restaurant with breathtaking views of the valley. Big climb to get there by car or on foot because it is at altitude The decor is really nice and modern, however, the food is relatively mediocre. Basically only frozen food for a €25 ticket (dish + drink) I only recommend it if you come for the view and are not in a hurry We didn't even try to have dessert, the neighboring tables were still waiting for their dishes... The map changes often, so it is not up to date in Google Maps photos

Very pretty frame. High price for the quantities, especially given the quality of the children's menu (basic frozen nuggets and fries). The à la carte dishes are good despite everything but the price/quantity ratio remains high.

A magnificent setting (the terrace facing the mountains is most pleasant!) A remarkable welcome. Great dishes. What more ? I highly recommend !
