Delicious meal with excellent staff who adapt to picky people like me. Everything is good, everything is beautiful and super pleasant staff, attentive to your needs and even at your disposal. Superb interior decoration and small private room with a very pretty setting.

A birthday present I will remember. We tasted the menu in 10 stages and from dish to dish it was a marvel of flavor, sauces to raise the curtain, a presentation worthy of a work of art throughout the dishes with magnificent tableware. Well done ! I would like to thank the sommelier who was able to surprise us in particular with a rosé served with foie gras and for his kindness and good humor. Thank you, keep it up. Colin-Billet

Bravo ! Vous méritez vos deux macarons. Tout est excellent des amuses bouches aux desserts, nous avons tout aimé et pourtant nous ne sommes pas attirés par les menus imposés avec beaucoup de plats. Au Pré les préparations sont très bien dosées autour d'un produit et les portions assez importantes pour que le palais se souvienne de chaque plat. Très belle carte des vins, personnel charmant et très professionnel. Un vrai chariot de fromages. Plusieurs espaces de restauration et donc une certaine intimité. Seul bémol, l'emplacement ne permet pas un extérieur accueillant pour une petite détente après le repas. Excellent rapport qualité-prix pour cette catégorie de restaurant Nous avons adoré, nous reviendrons. Merci à toute l'équipe.

Excellent accueil, et comme toujours des saveurs exceptionnelles tout au long du parcours "Printemps dans nos montagnes", de l'apéritif avec la célébrissime 'Iode' aux mignardises finales pour accompagner le café, avec de nouveaux plats particulièrement réussis (Asperge, Morille... pour clore le printemps en attendant de voir ce que le Chef nous réservera pour l'été) et d'autres plats que j'avais déjà beaucoup appréciés lors de précédentes visites. Pour la boisson, il suffit de faire confiance au Maître sommelier, pour des vins au verre qui s'accordent parfaitement avec les saveurs. Une mention particulière pour les nouvelles assiettes, de beaux écrins qui semblent inspirer le Chef Xavier Beaudiment, pour toujours plus d'excellence. Très facile d'accès, avec des places de parking.

Dinner in this establishment and ultimately very mixed feeling. Already the location on the edge of the main road is not the most appropriate for a Relais & CHATEAUX. We are very far from a castle with a room overlooking a tagged EDF block. The teams are particularly attentive and save the service but the dishes are not all "surprising" in the sense of a 2 Michelin star. There are also certain dishes that we do not finish due to lack of taste interest. So the dinner lasts a little long and personally it was only the dessert that really pleasantly surprised me. Also disappointed (like other comments) with the price of wine by the glass. The price is not announced, we do not have the wine lists, and 25 euros for 10cl of wine, frankly, which we realize when adding the bill, is a bit strong for coffee. Fortunately the service is up to par. And given the cries in the kitchen that we think we can hear during the meal, it's perhaps better to be in the dining room than to work behind the stove. In short, very mixed experience. At 250 euros per person, I'm not really sure I'd recommend it.

The welcome is warm and very professional, we were seated in a small, intimate room, which allows us to spend a meal in a calm environment conducive to culinary discoveries. The head waiter offers us to choose from a selection of very beautiful knives from Thiers, which immediately immerses us in the local side. We had the 10 course menu. To discover the chef's entire menu. From appetizers to desserts, everything was fresh, tasty, original, mixtures of flavors mixing yesterday's cuisine revisited in the modern era. There really is something for everyone, you travel from land to sea throughout the meal. The chef undoubtedly deserves his two stars in the Michelin guide. The service is also up to par, extremely precise and professional, always available, ready to respond to customers' slightest desires. The wine list is very well stocked with a large choice and for all budgets. Special mention for Louis XIII cognac because it is not often on the menu even in very fine establishments. Obviously I couldn't resist, being a huge fan of very good cognacs. The cognac service lived up to the prestige of the bottle. If you like good gastronomy and you pass through Clermont-Ferrand, I can only invite you to reserve a table at Le Pré. You will not be disappointed.
