We had the pleasure of celebrating our respective birthdays at the Pressoir d’Argent Gordon Ramsay, and it was an unforgettable experience. This restaurant – one of the many prestigious restaurants of British chef Gordon Ramsay, with 16 Michelin stars and head of the Pressoir d'Argent since 2009 – has consistently maintained its second star since 2015. After our dinner, we can only affirm that the third star should not delay as it would be so well deserved. Located in the heart of the InterContinental Bordeaux – Le Grand Hôtel, the restaurant seduces with its elegance. The intimate and cozy atmosphere creates an ideal setting for a special evening. Every moment of this dinner was a revelation, enhanced by the creativity and rigor of chef Romain Lorenzon. The dishes – langoustine, Saint-Pierre or even Limousin beef – demonstrate impressive precision and technical mastery, paying homage to local products. Special mention to the selection of cheeses: a sophisticated and unique choice that deserves to be highlighted. We were absolutely delighted, although perhaps a little too full at the end of the meal. Slightly reducing the portions could be an area for improvement. The service, for its part, was impeccable, with an attentive, warm and perfectly orchestrated team. The visit to the kitchens at the end of the evening, a privilege, was the icing on the cake of this experience. Of course, this level of gastronomy comes at a cost, but every moment was worth it. A must-see restaurant for a unique experience and a true gastronomic showcase by Gordon Ramsay.

So, friends... I and my beloved finally)) arrived at Bardo, it’s in France, =) Great, absolute, honest, noble atmosphere, but as always, not without a touch of gypsy baroque (this is a metaphor, as I don’t want to offend the gypsies) So our Hero hid in the magnificent International Hotel, adopted the popular name of Hormone Ramsey and began to act weird!!! This is an absolute circus that has nothing to do with a balanced and outstanding cuisine, such culinary tutorials)). You will definitely be stuffed with food (kents in black suits, and you will definitely feel how the broken light of the moon gave you a bite of red wallpaper and paid nine and a half hundred euros! It seems like time is moving towards sunset, eating in a museum with men in black is not the best way to spend your money! There is a version - maybe they are secretly filming people like me, and then they will post in the body of the program “you were filmed with a hidden camera” Or "Idiot Competition" That's all!!! P.S. I would like to give you a hint - Bardo has excellent street cuisine; anywhere you can get real pleasure from local chefs, caring and fast waiters, as well as excellent wine grown by the warm hands of local winemakers. Le cadre est intimiste et l’ambiance feutrée. Le Chef Alexandre Koa est très peu mit en avant. Le restaurant porte que le nom du Chef Gordon, rien d’autre (gros détail qui est omit jusqu’à qu’on pose la question). Ce jeune Chef est très talentueux, les plats sont goûteux, les sauces très bien travaillées. Ce qu’on a moins aimé c’est ce « forcing » de vente. Que ça soit sur le choix des suppléments sur le menu, l’eau ou le vin, on nous pousse à consommer. On ce sent comme des touristes, c’est dommage. Ça reste une belle table gastronomique.

08/01/2025: The only really good restaurant in the area. Fresh products (rare!), beautiful pizzas: it’s an excellent restaurant, known and recognized. I've known it since the opening. Serious and friendly bosses (and boss). A sure value that we don't make anymore.
