We received a very warm welcome. Thank you to the chef for taking the time to speak with us and for his sweet and savory cuisine with perfectly balanced flavors—a truly delicious experience.
I highly recommend it, with a special mention for the beef and its sauce, and the chocolate mousse, which is not as simple as it looks, is simply unmissable.

Second visit, May 2026: We could taste the change in chef on our plates… the experience was less satisfying. The desserts weren't "worthy" of a signature menu, as they were a bit simple.
However, the service was still excellent!
First visit, August 2025: A truly wonderful culinary experience. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was very friendly. We'll be back!

A wonderful time spent at Le Prieuré restaurant! The service was excellent, Yann was incredibly attentive. Local produce was showcased beautifully. The chef isn't afraid to put a fresh spin on familiar dishes, like snails, for example – delightful surprises! I highly recommend it!

My first experience at this restaurant was a resounding success: the service was attentive and caring, the setting elegant, and the cuisine of the new chef, Armand Fauquier, was demanding and precise. Take, for example, the pigeon, prepared two ways (cooked on the bone and with confit pastry), which was simply perfect!

A truly wonderful discovery in Ambierle! We had a fantastic time at this gourmet restaurant. Each dish is a genuine invitation to travel, with flavor combinations inspired by cuisines from around the world, enhanced by high-quality local ingredients.
The welcome and service were impeccable: warm, attentive, and highly professional. As for the setting, it is simply magnificent, perfectly in harmony with the charm of this beautiful village. We wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant and will gladly return!
