Le Provençal sur Saint-Raphael

One of the best restaurants in St Raphaël: the cuisine is delicate and delicious, and the owner is lovely, cheerful, and clearly loves her work. A true pleasure to dine here, both for the attentive service and the delight of the inventive and exquisite cuisine!

While visiting Saint-Raphaël, we chose this restaurant and were more than delighted. Exceptional cuisine, a warm atmosphere, a very pleasant waitress... we had a wonderful time and will definitely return on our next trips.

I am under the impression that the menu changes every so often, which if true is a wonderful thing about this place. There are three choices for each portion of the lunch menu, I chose to have the entrée, plat, and dessert and added an iced tea(€33.30, worth it!); I am learning so much about dining in France from observing how things are done. Coffee is offered at the end of the meal, which maybe I will try another time. I was supplied with olives, bread and water (plus a mint) besides what I ordered from the menu today. I am used to very short meals because of where I come from and the social structure. I think this is my first step to seeing what else can change about my approach to dining, whether it is the ingredients or the length of the meal, even what comes with it. Considering what I might look for in picking a place to eat, and the particulars that came with today, I note that maybe 25 minutes of my time was waiting for my waiter to get back to me —she was everyone’s waiter— and that maybe an additional person would help move things along. Overall, I think this experience was great and was happy to be there.

A smiling, humorous waitress who never stops. Her husband is fantastic in the kitchen, making delicious homemade food. Yes, the menu doesn't have 50 dishes, but at least everything is fresh and homemade. A lovely and pleasant terrace. A pretty and pleasant terrace.

Very welcoming, the food is fresh and very well prepared. This is our second time there and we will gladly return. A real treat! Thank you.
