An excellent restaurant that doesn't look like much. We had very good and generous dishes, everything is homemade and the products are of very good quality. The service is not to be outdone, we were well received and served throughout the meal.

We were delighted to find this small bistro just behind our hotel on our first stay in Menton. The food was excellent and the ambience authentic with great individual service. Just what we'd hoped to find "one road back" from the tourist restaurants lining the promenade.

07/09/2024: Soothing place, apart from the mosquitoes hahahaha...we had a great evening with my family. 3 people took the menu and 3 others took a la carte, very small remark, for the ravioli in the menu at 45 euros, we should just add a little on the plate, in any case Thanks to the whole team from the restaurant, a super professional and friendly waitress. See you soon in your establishment.
07/09/2024: What a wonderful time at the Bistrot des Jardins. I have always been attracted to this restaurant and its little garden but I never had the opportunity to go there. Yesterday for our wedding anniversary we finally took the plunge and reserved a table. The setting is exceptional, in a green setting. The team is attentive, very friendly, very professional. The meal (menu) was divine, from starters to dessert. The dishes are delicious, refined, beautiful to look at and without fuss. We also enjoyed the playlist which was excellent (all the music we like to listen to, our playlist in short) which added a touch to the magic of the moment. We will return with our children and in winter to enjoy the room which looks just as beautiful as the outside. A big congratulations ❤️❤️❤️❤️

A l'ombre du clocher

04/09/2024: Very nice discovery. Despite a busy terrace, the waitress was very friendly and smiling. As for the pizzas, they were excellent.
25/08/2024: After sightseeing Menton for an hour or so I wanted some dinner so A l'ombre du clocher seemed like a nice place. It was very busy as we arrived at opening time. Lovely staff. Food good, service good. Lovely seating arrangements outside on the patio sections. Good price. An amazing spot for dinner.
