Finally a Michelin that not only look pretty but also make you full - flavors are just right, not too salty nor sweet, balanced, light and creative

Another absolutely memorable meal. ⭐⭐⭐
It's easy to see why this restaurant is considered the best in the world. Even before sitting down to eat, you're not really eating… you're taking a history lesson. First, you're taken to the museum to discover the restaurant's history, the chef's philosophy, and the entire creative process. At least you know exactly why you're starving.
Then, it's off to the garden: a glass in hand, a few minutes to contemplate nature… a pleasant way to prolong your hunger.
Just before you faint, four menus are offered, each based on a different season and plant: flowers, leaves, roots, or fruits. Yesterday, it was Roots. Each dish was built around root vegetables like radish, ginger, onion, or other roots. It was surprisingly refined and frankly delicious. Afterwards… I couldn't tell if it was thanks to the chef's talent or simply because I was starving. 😂

A truly special moment was captured in this culinary discovery during the 20th anniversary celebration of Mirazur restaurant: 23 dishes, including a tribute to Chef Bras's gargouillou (pictured). Discovering the world of Mauro Colagreco is an extraordinary experience!

After having had the pleasure of discovering several fine restaurants in the region, such as Les Roches Rouges, Berne, L’Or Bleu, Pennafort, Chez Bruno, and Lucas, I must admit that Mirazur was not my most memorable culinary experience.
The setting is magnificent, the service attentive, but a few things, in my opinion, could be improved. The bread was very good, but serving the exact same bread throughout a meal of this caliber lacks a certain element of surprise and variety.
We opted for the Fruits menu, and honestly, we didn't find the excellence one has the right to expect from a three-Michelin-starred restaurant. Some dishes also left us wanting more. For example, the green beans with caviar were pleasant, but we didn't experience the emotional impact or intensity of flavor that one expects from a three-Michelin-starred establishment. The zucchini was also lacking. The same was true for some dishes that seemed to lack seasoning or depth of flavor. The dishes were very pretty, but in my opinion, not up to three-star standards.
We also regretted the lack of transparency regarding some of the extras. Having access to the menu only at the end of the meal, it was difficult to know what was included and what wasn't. Cheese was offered without any mention that it was an extra, as were the welcome cocktails, which seemed to be part of the experience. At this price point, clearer information would be appreciated.
Another surprising point: the noise level. We found the dining room particularly noisy, which detracted from the experience and conversation at the table, especially in an establishment of this caliber.
Ultimately, it was good, sometimes even very good, but we never experienced the sense of wonder we expected from such a renowned restaurant. A pleasant experience, but not one that will remain the highlight of our culinary journey.
This opinion is of course totally subjective and reflects only my personal experience, my tastes and my expectations during this visit.

A birthday meal I will not forget! At first, I was very appreciative of the fact that they asked if I had any special food requirements ( -which I do—certain shellfish) they were willing to completely accommodate them. A bonus was that because they’re celebrating their 25th anniversary. There is an exhibit that walks through some of the history and the science behind all of the cooking and recipe design. I’m personally interested in the creative process and found this to be a bonus to the whole experience. highlight was drinking champagne from a fresh rose to highlight the different sensations we can experience while eating..
Next, we had our mini opening dishes on the outdoor patio, which was lovely at the shrimp dish was so full of umami that I don’t think I’ll ever forget it! He asked if we could have a small tour of the garden below and were able to take a few moments just to see and smell all of the lemons, herbs, and other things growing right there. We also watched one of the sous chef’s running around, picking things for the meal they were preparing,
We were than escorted up to our table, which had a spectacular view of Menton And a small balcony that allow us to step outside to take pictures as the sun set.
We opted for the wine pairing ( not the top price level) Ever extremely pleased with many of the options- including a sommelier Davide, who made the experience very personal and delightful- his passion was contagious and selections impeccablw like a sauterne we will not soon forget. He surprised us mid meal with an unexpected selection!
The theme was fruit, and I felt very lucky that almost every dish really spoke to a layering of flavors of freshness - all plated artistically. Georgio and Claudia took very good care of us appearing at just the right time and not disturbing the flow.
Every detail was handled brilliantly. My only mini complaint was that my sparkling water missed some refills but that was easily rectified.
Since it was my birthday, they did celebrate that with a fanfare (see photo) That felt appropriately over the top! All in all just an amazing way to celebrate! There were several desserts and that was the perfect way to end a meal that felt like a journey of taste delights. Note : We were way too full to opt in for a cheese course at that point so I can’t comment on that but the selection looked extensive.
All three of us left feeling like we had stepped into a world of flavor, surprise and thoughtful service for the evening that will not soon forget!

From the moment we arrived, we had the feeling we were about to experience something truly exceptional, and that's exactly what we did.
At Mirazur, it's not so much about service as it's about guidance, as we progressed from one delightful surprise to the next in this culinary experience.
Of course, the setting is exceptional and contributes to the magic of the moment.
The fruit-themed menu is sublime, both in its presentation and its flavors.
The wine selection is incredible.
In short, we would love to come back often to explore all the different culinary worlds; a huge thank you to the chef and the entire team!
