Simply delicious and original, a very good restaurant in Niort.

Lunch for a family reunion (6 people): a very warm welcome and a very pleasant atmosphere. Impeccable service with a touch of humor. We all thoroughly enjoyed every dish. We highly recommend it and will definitely return!

While waiting for our train, we stopped at Le Petit Rouquin, having already heard good things about the place. A fantastic lunch, a real treat on the plate. Well done to the team!

The food was very good, the dishes were flavorful and beautifully presented; there was nothing to criticize about the quality, it was truly excellent. However, the service lacked flexibility, which is a shame considering the price. Being pregnant and unable to order the dish with raw meat or the side dish I preferred, I asked to replace the truffle mashed potatoes with fries. The change was accepted, but charged as an extra €2. It's surprising to pay more for fries instead of a truffle side dish, especially when it's a replacement and not an addition. The same impression occurred with dessert: unable to consume the desserts offered (alcohol and unpasteurized fresh cheese), an alternative was offered, a very welcome gesture. However, when my two colleagues at the same table asked for the same thing, it was refused on the grounds that they were not pregnant. This lack of consistency and flexibility is regrettable. The quality is definitely there, and that's precisely why a little more commercial flexibility would allow us to offer an experience that fully lives up to the quality of the cuisine.

What a wonderful place! A sure sign it's a good restaurant: it was full on a wet Thursday night. We had an excellent meal: friendly atmosphere, subtle dishes, very good wines by the glass, all for €85 for two – without dessert (not enough room) but tip included. Be sure to book!

Great place! The homemade dishes are excellent, the set menu is reasonably priced, and the servers are very friendly. The atmosphere is welcoming and warm. A fantastic find: I'll definitely be back and I highly recommend it!

At lunchtime, the set menu was absolutely perfect. I highly recommend it. The evening meal was just as good. Definitely a restaurant 🍴 worth recommending.
