Excellent food, great atmosphere.

I recently had dinner at Le Ptit Rouquin, a restaurant I'd heard a lot about. The starter, a farm-fresh egg, was excellent: flavorful, well-prepared, and bursting with taste. For my main course, I chose pan-seared scallops with cauliflower mousseline. The scallops were fresh, perfectly seared, and delicious. The side dish was decent, although I found it a bit dense and rather heavy, which made the dish feel slightly heavy at the end. The portion of scallops seemed a little small. Overall, the meal was good and enjoyable. However, the prices seemed a bit high considering the overall experience, especially since Niort offers several excellent restaurants with great value for money. A quality restaurant, even if it wasn't the one that stood out the most among my Niort dining experiences.

Very pleasant and delicious restaurant

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hotelier, Mokka Hotel… A truly beautiful table, a perfectly cooked egg, absolutely perfect…! Skinless black pudding served on a bed of aligot…! Flavorful, delicious, wonderful…! Thank you for these dishes, they were perfect. Keep up the good work and please us again.

Tested during a business trip. Fresh, seasonal, homemade dishes prepared with originality and skill. The portions are generous, the staff welcoming, and the prices quite reasonable. Well done to the whole team!

Passing through Niort. Arrived at noon without a reservation. Fully booked! Seeing our disappointment, the owner set up three small round tables so we could all sit together. The waiter was lovely. Excellent food served on pretty tableware and a very good bottle of white wine (whose name I've forgotten), all for a very reasonable price.
