Le Quai sur Auxerre

Lunch on a sunny terrace. The head waiter is doing his best to supervise the shy new recruits... there's work to be done, but plenty of goodwill. The dishes are nicely presented. Nothing extraordinary, but with a two-course menu for €18, the value for money is there. It's not a restaurant I would go to for dinner as a couple. But for lunch, it's very good. As for the dish, I had already eaten it before taking the photo.

Everything went perfectly. Sam provided extraordinary service.

We thoroughly enjoyed the snails, beef bourguignon, and monkfish. Thank you to Nathalie, who kindly came from behind the bar to take care of us with a good laugh. I loved it! A very nice and professional team.

Hello, this place was recommended to me by my daughter-in-law and frankly...no regrets whatsoever. The starters, eggs meurette and warm goat cheese, were excellent. For the main course, the cod with its mussel emulsion was divine!! Dessert was more basic for me (a fresh cheese), but given what we'd eaten before, it was definitely necessary. My friend, who has a bigger sweet tooth, ordered a gourmet Irish Coffee, which was delicious! The portions were very generous. The waiter was very friendly and attentive; he recommended a Tonnerre white wine, which was excellent. The only slight drawback was that two mini gougères or three crisps to accompany the aperitif would have been a nice touch, but it's just a minor detail. Honestly, I recommend it without hesitation; we'll definitely be back!! Thanks again for the great food and to the waiter.

Delicious food (sea bream, deserved a Michelin star), soup and dessert. Freshly tapped beer and fast, attentive service at reasonable prices. We were very satisfied. €62.
