Very pleasant restaurant, very professional service by the waiter named Samuel. The plates are prepared with the desire to delight the customer. Coming for the Valentine's Day menu, an appetizer at the start of the meal and sweets at the end were offered. Very good atmosphere and very beautiful restaurant with exposed stones.

A restaurant exactly what we were looking for: tasty Burgundian cuisine, served in generous portions, very pleasant service and an ideal location. The only small downside: the chocolate mousse is not a mousse, it is much too dense, which is a shame. Otherwise, honestly, for the dishes and the atmosphere, I highly recommend!

A very pleasant evening. The welcome was very professional and comfortable. The little surprise of the beetroot mousse as a starter was very appreciated. Our mocktails were very good. The starter and the dishes, nothing to complain about, it was very very good and plentiful. The children had rump steak which they liked. Dessert, on the other hand, was more disappointing because the homemade chocolate mousse was way too thick for a mousse. Apart from the downside of dessert we had a very good evening.

A restaurant and a magnificent setting, a menu with quality products for more than affordable prices. A team that listens, is very kind and smiling. A real treat for an evening of wonder. A big thank you for this service and for the quality. We were passing through the region, and I only hope for one thing, to return to a restaurant like this.

well done !! For the dining room team as well as the kitchen team A menu at 24.90 that would make many people pale, traditional cuisine, well done, service with a smile. My only regret is not having or tasting a local beer. But for the rest the wines are good and go perfectly with the cuisine. Thanks a lot . From the bp sommelier of Chateau-Thierry

On an outing with a couple of friends we enjoyed this place. the dishes are excellent, the taste and quality are there. Great value for money. I have just arrived in Auxerre and it is an address where I would happily return. see you soon !

Very pleasantly surprised. Delicious food, very friendly service, we had a lovely time. Given the relatively reasonable price, we weren't expecting a kitchen of this level!!!! THANKS!

19/02/2024: We eat well at lunchtime and in the evening and there is even an aperitif during the day! The new name is La veranda with a young team but which keeps the traditional Burgundian specialties. Fresh and hearty dishes. Prices and service are correct. The nicely redecorated room gives pride of place to tradition and fantasy. The classic ice cream sundaes are delicious and respect the recipe from our childhood and even the unbeatable price, so go for two or with friends in the dining room or on the terrace.

24/03/2024: A very good experience during the inauguration with Virginie on duty, to whom we thank again!! Unfortunately we returned this Sunday, March 24 in the evening, and very disappointed with the service by a gentleman with glasses (tattoo on the arms, anchor, etc.). Very rushed by his service, he doesn't even give us time to finish the starter when the dish is already on the table... Not very friendly... it's a shame we only remember the negative of the service even though the food was very good. At the time of payment we take out a 10% discount card on the bill that we had at the inauguration for businesses and this gentleman refuses us this card, supposedly not valid… We are not close to a few euros but kindness and politeness yes!
16/03/2024: A very good evening. Very good meal. The waitress was great, very pleasant. Thank you for the welcoming. We will come back.
