A children's menu without nuggets (the only option on the menu) was replaced with a slice of ham or an omelet... this issue was already raised in previous reviews six months ago.
We ate well, but the service was far from welcoming, which was a shame.

We came for lunch today and ordered the set menu; it was excellent from start to finish. Good quality ingredients, excellent cooking skills—we were delighted. Thank you for the service. I highly recommend it for families with a three-year-old; it was fantastic value for money, nothing to complain about. The service was also very welcoming.

A warm welcome and a pleasant atmosphere. Generous tea and gourmet coffee, plus homemade tarts. I recommend it.

We had a wonderful time, but there are two small points for improvement. We opted for the most expensive menu, and there were eight of us. It was a quiet Saturday evening in the off-season, and when I asked if it would be possible to change the dessert, I received a firm no. These days, in many restaurants, desserts are only available à la carte. I would have appreciated an exception on such a quiet Saturday evening; some background music would have been nice too.

We came for a drink and, tempted by the homemade suggestions, ended up having dinner there: black pudding with apples and a bacon omelet. The staff are friendly and welcoming. I recommend it.

I sometimes eat here. The food is local and very good. The waitresses are friendly and the owners are very pleasant. I never tire of eating there. The service is quick and it's a lovely place.
