I stop by every time I visit my family in Dax. The food is high quality, the meats are truly delicious, and the baby squid are to die for. The value for money is excellent, not to mention the impeccable welcome and service. I highly recommend it!

We attended a Sunday lunch organized by a local association, with pre-set menus. It was a great success thanks to the quality of the food and ingredients. The semi-cooked foie gras was firm and flavorful. My partner chose excellent salmon, and I had a thick veal chop, perfectly cooked over a wood fire, tender and generously garnished. The service for our group of about thirty was perfect, despite the presence of other diners. Whether individually or as a group, we will definitely return. On April 15, 2026, we had lunch together and thoroughly enjoyed rediscovering the robust flavors of yesteryear, so authentic and bursting with the taste of the ingredients. The meal was reminiscent of wedding or communion meals from the 1950s and 60s. Just imagine! The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked with a delicate and fragrant crust. The Baked Alaska, considered a classic, is a must-try! Who can still make this dessert? A touch of modernity with a sea bream ceviche. This is an address to remember without hesitation!

Passing through Dax for the weekend, we'd heard about this restaurant! And we were absolutely delighted!!! A warm and relaxed atmosphere. An equally warm welcome and traditional, yet incredibly delicious, cuisine! The braised lamb shank was to die for!!! Don't change a thing, you were fantastic! Special mention to our waitress with her wonderful sense of humor and easygoing manner that immediately put us at ease. We felt right at home!
