A great, friendly restaurant with a warm welcome; the dishes were generous and very good. I highly recommend it!

Ramuntcho is an exceptional restaurant. Upon arrival, we were offered three butternut squash soups and three small pieces of quiche Lorraine free of charge, which was a very nice touch. The appetizer was delicious. The pace between courses was perfect. The dishes were flavorful and excellent. There was a slight cooking error with the ribeye steak and the amount of salt on the fries could have been adjusted by us. The restaurant is quiet, which is pleasant, and has a family atmosphere. We have been coming for years and we will be back. €142 for three people. (Appetizer, main course, aperitif, and coffee) I highly recommend it.

For our wedding catering, we started by trying out the restaurant in Dax. The quality of the meat impressed everyone. On the big day, the cocktail hour was excellent. Special mention goes to the foie gras and the brazier, which our guests loved! The meal was excellent and the service impeccable. The attentive team helped us from setting up the venue until the very end of the wedding. Thank you for everything! We will definitely return to the restaurant!

I stop by every time I visit my family in Dax. The food is high quality, the meats are truly delicious, and the baby squid are to die for. The value for money is excellent, not to mention the impeccable welcome and service. I highly recommend it!

We attended a Sunday lunch organized by a local association, with pre-set menus. It was a great success thanks to the quality of the food and ingredients. The semi-cooked foie gras was firm and flavorful. My partner chose excellent salmon, and I had a thick veal chop, perfectly cooked over a wood fire, tender and generously garnished. The service for our group of about thirty was perfect, despite the presence of other diners. Whether individually or as a group, we will definitely return. On April 15, 2026, we had lunch together and thoroughly enjoyed rediscovering the robust flavors of yesteryear, so authentic and bursting with the taste of the ingredients. The meal was reminiscent of wedding or communion meals from the 1950s and 60s. Just imagine! The Beef Wellington was perfectly cooked with a delicate and fragrant crust. The Baked Alaska, considered a classic, is a must-try! Who can still make this dessert? A touch of modernity with a sea bream ceviche. This is an address to remember without hesitation!

Passing through Dax for the weekend, we'd heard about this restaurant! And we were absolutely delighted!!! A warm and relaxed atmosphere. An equally warm welcome and traditional, yet incredibly delicious, cuisine! The braised lamb shank was to die for!!! Don't change a thing, you were fantastic! Special mention to our waitress with her wonderful sense of humor and easygoing manner that immediately put us at ease. We felt right at home!

The food is quite good, and the waitresses are nice.
