Txupinazo sur Dax

Nothing to add except that we're still having a great time at Txupi! ❤️ Another overwhelmingly positive review: we had another fantastic time in a lovely setting with a top-notch team. A must-visit in Dax, which we wholeheartedly recommend! ✨

Average and disappointing. Obviously, the central location is ideal, but the food is far too mediocre for what's served: small portions, overcooked and tasteless papatas bravas served cold, and while the red wine was good, it wasn't cheap. We waited a long time both to have our order taken and to be served, even though the restaurant wasn't full. Avoid this place and look for more discreet and much better quality restaurants.

A really nice spot in Txupinazo, Dax, to have a beer with friends. Lovely decor, quick and attentive service, and excellent ham! I recommend it!

We loved the hake tapas, as well as the tortilla. Be careful when ordering; the menu lists "ham croquettes" at €2.50 and "croquetas" at €7. Although we asked for the ham croquettes (two extra portions!), we were served the croquetas. The total price reflects this. The service was a mixed bag: one of the waiters was smiling and efficient, another was less friendly. Overall, the place is pleasant.

A pleasant evening enjoying several snacks...appreciable, tasty, high-quality, and plentiful for two people...with a liter of sangria...the waiter was friendly and smiling, and there was no wait. For us, it was perfect for a lovely time.

Very welcoming staff, top-notch pintxos!

The servers were very pleasant, smiling, and attentive, adapting to our requests. Good prices and a great location! We watched the World Cup final there yesterday, and despite the crowd, they were impeccable! The only slight downside was that our mussel pintxo was good but too small for the price, and the mussels were very small. I still recommend it, though! It was right next to our hotel 😊

High prices for what you get. €5 for four sandwiches with a small chocolate bowl. €40 for a charcuterie board for "four" with hardly anything on it. It used to be a good, nice place, but unfortunately, it's changed a lot.
