We're so glad we ignored the negative reviews before booking. We spent four nights there exploring the surrounding area. The initial welcome was a little cold, but within ten minutes, we were in good spirits. The rooms aren't huge, but they were perfectly adequate. Our dog was very welcome (at no extra charge). And the restaurant... We don't usually eat at the hotel every night to try out the local restaurants, but we enjoyed excellent food there all four evenings. Very reasonable prices. Excellent and friendly service. With a few degrees warmer, it would have been lovely to be able to enjoy the terrace. So, no regrets about this booking. We'd gladly return with friends.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and also had the chance to try the restaurant in the evening. The food was excellent, the portions generous, and the prices reasonable. The room rate, however, was a bit high considering the quality, but it was perfectly adequate for one night.

A very nice, quiet hotel with a view of Bitche Fortress. Clean, well-equipped rooms, friendly staff, and delicious food. We would gladly return.
