What a wonderful discovery!
Attentive service, lovely decor, comfortable seating and tables, background music, generous and comforting cuisine, with the chef even checking on us to make sure everything was alright (you just don't see that anymore!).

Excellent! Exquisite dishes, generous portions. The food is just how we like it, prepared with love and expertise. The chef is always happy to explain everything and makes you feel right at home.
The atmosphere is understated yet welcoming. The quality wines are beautifully presented. High-quality local produce is used.

I don't understand the comments about the people at this restaurant. We were very well received by the lady, who was certainly old but very attentive, and the waiter, who was also old but very professional. The meal was unpretentious but very good in terms of price, quality, and quantity. We will return to our favorite stopover restaurant as we do every year.
