Le Rempart sur Riez

Great restaurant, very pleasant atmosphere. The staff are young and friendly, the service is excellent, the food is superb, and the presentation is beautiful. I will definitely come back. Thank you.

These days it ain't easy in France to find a restaurant for lunch with the kitchen still functioning after 1.30pm, but not at this restaurant.......cycling through the region and looking for a lunch venue we noticed some activity in this restaurant and upon entering at 1.45pm we just asked whether the kitchen was stilll open and the answer was a friendly "biensur"!......quite extraordinary ! We were seated immediately and drinks served, and to our surprise they even had Paulaner beer on the tap! We selected the three course dinner which consisted of an amuse bouche, a provencal tapas platter, a slow cooked lamb shank and a tiramisu, as well as separately a "blanquette de veau". All food was delicious and a good representation of the provencale cuisine. Definitely a venue we will return to when visiting Riez next and one highly recommended to those after a provencale cuisine combined with friendly service and at great value for money

We stumbled upon it by chance... and we weren't disappointed. An original place, a warm welcome, a menu full of delicious treats, top-notch service... and a perfectly reasonable price. In short, a lovely place to discover, even if the storefront doesn't do justice to the quality of the place. And also a delectable homemade dessert: the lemon tart that will leave you wanting more!

Clean restaurant, good atmosphere, very good, fresh food. I recommend it.

This is the second time we've had the opportunity to have lunch with family at this restaurant. And we really like this place; their terrace is very pleasant, the staff very friendly, and the food is good and well served. There's also a large free parking lot just a stone's throw from the restaurant. I salute the team and say see you next time.
