It was a great time at the bar, a meeting place for friends, where we enjoyed a friendly chat with the owner. Fantastic! Let's do it again!!

A truly excellent restaurant! I go there very regularly, almost daily, and I've never been disappointed. The ingredients are really high quality, the menu is varied, the dishes are homemade, and the prices are very reasonable. Special mention for the rib-eye steaks, clearly among the best in the region! I've seen some negative reviews and, honestly, I don't understand them. For me, it's an excellent place that I recommend without hesitation!

Le Bistrot de Madeleine

29/08/2026: In my opinion, this is the bar you absolutely must visit when you arrive in Tarare. Full of stories, the owner knows the history of Tarare inside and out. Don't hesitate to ask him about the history of the area opposite the Madeleine church, a truly exceptional site. The coffee is incredibly smooth and delicious. I highly recommend it if you're passing through Tarare; I was genuinely surprised by this family-run café.
22/05/2026: We come here for the coffee, and we appreciate this café-bar where we are always very well received. Special thanks for opening at 6 a.m. That's rare.
