The staff is very friendly, smiling with delicate intentions. Accepts dogs outside and inside the restaurant. The manager is top notch. Delicious dishes, good value for money. We recommend it!

Very good restaurant, with a breathtaking view of the lake. Top service with a warm and above all very smiling and kind manager. The dishes are delicious, fresh and plentiful, a big congratulations to the chef!! We had a great time there and the prices are more than affordable. A restaurant to try if you are passing through Val Joly. Looking forward to returning

Came to eat in this restaurant, very nice setting, we enjoyed ourselves, the children had a beautiful plate and well presented, a little word for the dark-haired waitress who was very kind to our children, great attention to them.L summer it must be nice to enjoy the terrace, except in November we cannot enjoy it :) we will come back with pleasure 😊

Where to start... We came to stay at Valjoly for a weekend. We decided to go eat at the lake restaurant. The setting and the view nothing to say. The menu is mediocre, the aperitifs mediocre also they don't even serve orange pisang which is still a very basic aperitif and known for a blah blah restaurant... we order a country board as a starter. A table of 5 people was seated next to us about 10 minutes after us. And the surprise was that we waited 15 minutes for our board. The table next to us is served before us and receives 2 boards while we wait for ours to be ordered before them 15 minutes before. Anyway.. Then our two dishes arrive even though we haven't even received our board to order as a starter. The waitress apologizes and brings us the total, the board and our two dishes. I ordered a skewer from the hunter (around 16 or 17€) I found it pathetic, 3 ridiculous pieces of meat. With a pot of fries (filled with salt). Edit: New visit to the restaurant on 04/23/22. New management. The menu is simple, few choices but which suggests that the products are at least worked and fresh. Effectively. This time we are not disappointed! As a starter, an excellent maroilles flamequiche for me and garlic snails for my companion. The entry was excellent. For the main course, a delicious beef tartare very well seasoned with fries and raw vegetables. Everything was excellent. The welcome was very good, the waitress was smiling and responsive! Nothing to complain about really this time we really weren't disappointed! Best wishes !
