A restaurant where you immediately feel at ease thanks to the warm and friendly welcome from the manager. The dishes are traditional, generous, and carefully prepared, with ample portions. We particularly appreciated the family atmosphere, which makes you feel right at home. The prices are quite reasonable. A great find.

Very good restaurant, the Welsh rarebit was excellent, and the white wine, Chapitre 9, was a pleasant surprise – fruity and not too alcoholic. However, the evening was somewhat spoiled by a group of seven, including four children, who had no qualms about shouting in the dining room. The restaurant isn't responsible, except perhaps for trying to accommodate too many customers. The close proximity was uncomfortable.

21/04/2026: Excellent value for money. The calf's head was perfect for those who enjoy it. The wines were more than adequate and reasonably priced. The service was provided by two staff members, a contrast between the "very serious" and the "checkered shirt and suspenders" types, but both were efficient and attentive (they immediately corrected the ice cream flavors). The atmosphere was very pleasant and intimate. We come back every year.

04/05/2026: Ate here last night on my own - travelling in the area . Food was excellent. Carbonara - but was one of the best I’ve had in a long time . Large portion so couldn’t finish it. Very friendly owner / staff .
