Le Rive Gauche sur Saintes

The dishes were well-cooked and nicely presented, but beware of inaccurate descriptions on the menu board. For example, an avocado with tuna was listed as mixed with smoked salmon, and a chocolate and citrus cake turned out to be just a kiwi and citrus cake with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. This really spoiled the experience.

Good, but not exceptional. Value for money... average.

We stumbled upon this restaurant while searching on Google Maps. We weren't disappointed. From the appetizer to the dessert, everything was delicious! And they also have a fantastic vegetarian option 😍

Passing through Saintes, we found this restaurant still open at 1:30 pm and I highly recommend it! The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent! The terrace is lovely, we'll be back.
