While passing through the Christmas market 🎄as a couple in Strasbourg, we stopped by chance at "Le Roi et son Fou" where we were received by Boris who is super friendly, we tasted a good sauerkraut and an excellent pinot gris on his recommendations Thank you for everything 🥰🥰🥰

We took refuge in the warmth during this Christmas market period and ate very well there. Very warm welcome, fast service despite the crowds and the team is smiling and full of humor! The daily special was unfortunately no longer available but the menu offered other specialties, so we were able to find what we were looking for easily with good value for money ;)

Stopping by for a brunch with a hot drink, croissant, bread, butter and jam, charcuterie and cheese plate. All this for only 12.90 euros. An unrivaled quality/price ratio. Very warm welcome. We will come back

Nice traditional café atmosphere in the middle of Strasbourg,, very close to the cathedral. Had a "le roi" breakfast with some friends - the assortment was quite good, although it comes with almost half a baguette - so be prepared!

15/10/2025: You can play pétanque. If it's still available, on Mondays there's a buy-one-get-one-free burger, which might be a good idea for students. However, it's quite busy, so orders take a while to arrive.
