Had a lovely supper here, recommend asking to eat outside by the river. Finished off with a delightfully bonkers water/light/dragon show. If you are in the area you would be bonkers not to try this restaurant..

We thoroughly enjoyed our Bastille Day dinner. The chef's menu was truly excellent. We hadn't been to this restaurant before, and it was a wonderful discovery. The food, the service, the ambiance, and the prices—everything was perfect. A lovely touch to end the evening was the restaurant's short sound and light show about the local legend of the Gartempe River.

This establishment is absolutely worth 10 stars. It's a wow from me. Frank and his team work extremely hard and the food is stand out the best we've had since we have been in France. Beautiful location. It's worth booking a table because it's very popular and I understand why food surprisingly reasonable for France. Fillet steak. 13 euros. Carved duck breast 13 euros. Just stunning dessert of the day.

We had a wonderful time, beautiful view outside, a very pleasant waiter with a touch of humor (thank you!), excellent and well-prepared dishes served at the perfect temperature, which is becoming quite rare. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Bravo to the chef, and above all, exceptional value for money!
