A wonderful discovery in Chamonix. The cuisine is refined and delicious, with well-balanced and beautifully presented dishes. The ingredients are high-quality and the flavors are expertly crafted. The service is attentive and the atmosphere pleasant. ☺️ It's the hotel restaurant, so reservations are recommended.

Food is tasty but the portions are small for the price and not much variety. The waiter was almost rude. Place was beautiful.

A very warm welcome, quick service, and excellent, carefully prepared cuisine! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I highly recommend this restaurant; the setting is very pleasant. Congratulations to the new chef, Mathilde, and the entire team!

24/03/2026: The staff were friendly. The clean and tidy room was excellent. The price was also reasonable compared to other hotels. It was very convenient having a supermarket and McDonald's right in front of the hotel. There is also a balcony. Disadvantages: It is a bit of a distance if you use public transportation (bus) instead of a car. It is very noisy outside at night, and you can hear people in other rooms playing music and talking all night long. The guests in the adjacent room even found them and told them to be quiet.

07/03/2026: A solid lower-cost, unpretentious option with all the amenities and basic things you would need to support a great ski trip in Chamonix. The bus stops steps from the hotel taking you to all the surrounding ski resorts and downtown chamonix for transfer to the airport or the bus to Italy, Valle Blanche, etc. The staff are great and make sure you have everything you need, and are willing to keep your ski bags, boots, gear, etc stored in the boot room downstairs while you wait for your next travel plans. There is WiFi that works well from the room and from the lounge downstairs if you need to hop on work calls and get work done. I had no connection issues. Les Praz is a good location (and closer) to the resorts up the valley such as Le Flegere, Grands Montets, and Le Tour. 20 minute walk to downtown Chamonix on a lovely river-side path.
